Energy Management
Our Energy Management Program is dedicated to saving resources and time by ensuring your company is operating as profitably and efficiently as possible. Let Field Services help you get the maximum return on y our energy investment and be a good environmental neighbor! Below are a few of the energy conservation products we utilize.
High Velocity Low Speed Fans
Our Field Services team can install high-velocity low-speed fans to help reduce the cost of cooling your warehouse. For every degree you turn down the thermostat and utilize these fans, you save 3-5% on your energy bill. These fans are superior products made of airplane metal starting at 8 feet up to 24 feet. A 36 inch high-speed fan produces 10,000 CFM and approximately costs $26,200 for every 20,000 hours. A 24 foot high-velocity low-speed fan produces 275,000 CFM and costs $2,860 for every 20,000 hours, resulting in $23,340 of net savings.
Motion Lights
In addition to cooling your facility, we can install motion lights to conserve energy. Rather than having lights on all the time, motion lights switch on when they detect activity and save you electricity and money. Depending on the quantity of motion lights installed and the size of your facility, your return on investment could be as quick as one year.
High Bay Lighting
Used with or without motion lights, high bay lighting can further reduce your energy cost by 30-50% for comparable light levels. High Bay lighting prevents light levels from dropping to low levels and maintains a consistent color. The Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct) provides tax incentives for improving your lighting systems, potentially saving you up to $.55 per square foot. Similar to motion lights, you’ll see your payback in as quick as one year.
Patterson Fans Power Tubes
Patterson Fans Power Tubes connect to a Patterson Fan and distribute cool air throughout the entire length of the tube, making sure everyone gets cool air, not only the person standing by the fan. Not only are they crucial in the summer heat, but during the winter they can reduce your heating bills by transferring warm arm from the ceiling down into the office space.
