History

For over 30 years AHS has been combining the power of creative design engineering with a selection of equipment manufacturers to create best-in-class supply chain solutions for a wide variety of industries and clients.

Today, AHS is led by Chuck Frank. Like his father before him, Chuck possesses strong skills and keen foresight to help clients solve their tough operations and fulfillment challenges. Under the leadership of Chuck Frank and his two partners, Jeff Miller and Dave Tavel, AHS solutions streamline supply chain initiatives improving employee productivity and increasing return on investment for our clients.

 
Charlie Frank leaves Procter & Gamble and joins the management team to focus on forecasted growth opportunities.
With the vision set for growth AHS acquires Advanced Handling Systems in Lakeland, Florida to expand its offering on a National basis.
After working for Buschman (FKI Logistex) & Litton (HK Sytems) Dave Tavel joins AHS to lead the sales team focusing on current client relations and business development.
Looking into the future & responding to ongoing growth, Charlie Frank elects to bring Chuck Frank & Jeff Miller onboard to assist Dave Tavel with growing the business & begins mentoring the three to assume management roles within the organization .
AHS out grows its Corporate headquarters & relocates to a larger facility  in Cincinnati, Ohio.
AHS wins “Value Added Award” from Material Handling Engineering Magazine for a state-of-the-art computer configuration center that was designed and installed by AHS.
In recognizing the contributions & need to maintain the leadership team, Charlie Frank sells 30% of company to Chuck Frank, Dave Tavel & Jeff Miller.

With ongoing demand & client expectations changing, AHS responds to their Client request by expanding their Field Services Group providing mechanical installation, device wiring, system controls, service, & project management.

Chuck Frank is named President of the organization allowing Charlie Frank the opportunity to transition out of the daily operations.

Company unveils new corporate identity.
Chuck Frank, Dave Tavel, and Jeff Miller purchase balance of the company from Charlie Frank.
Advanced Handling Systems takes on new corporate identity and changes its name  to AHS, Incorporated.
To support ongoing and future growth, AHS purchases a second building on Oaklawn Drive.
AHS is recognized by the Business Courier as one of the Fastest 55 growing businesses in the Cincinnati area.

AHS launches Material Handling Basics (MHB) to fulfill the ongoing demand for products offered through best in class business partners and a comprehensive catalog in a timely manner.

AHS receives an award as one of the Top 30 Emerging Companies recognized for its strategic planning and rapid growth by the Northern Kentucky Chamber.

Kelly Blake joins AHS as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development to assist in achieving the aggressive growth plans & oversee the day to day operations of the business.
